Paksiw

Isa akong truly bloodied “Bisakol”. Ang nanay ko bisaya at ang tatay ko naman bikolano, that’s why I grew up in a regional cuisine environment. One of the most gasgas recipe ng nanay ko ay ang “Paksiw”. Lahat yata ng pwedeng paksiwin eh pinaksiw na nya =P. Kaya naman ngayon I cant allow a week to pass by without eating it. Kahit mag amoy paksiw ako at ang buong kusina. Favorite ko ang paksiw na isda, dito sobrang mahal ng isda, I consider it as a luxury kung kakainin mo sya araw araw. Pero since understanding naman ang boss ko he allowed to me include frozen fish on our weekly grocery para naman I could have my fish dosage every week atleast di ba.

Halos lahat ng fish gusto ko for paksiw like tilapia,gg,tambakol,tulingan,espada,yellowfin,tuna,bangus etc..pwera lang ang matinik except for bangus =). Hindi ko kilala ang mga isda nila dito pwera lang sa tuna and macarel. Pero meron akong isda na lagi kong pinapaksiw…mura kasi. Haay, this is how my life now, im trying to live and eat like in pinas once in a while para naman hindi ako super homesick.
